Registration is on a first come first received basis. Once a gender/grade division is full, we close that gender/grade registration. We strongly encourage on-line early registration to: 1) reduce the potential of being wait listed; 2) lower a families overall cost in fees; and 3) improve the quality of the information entered into the Upward League Management computer system. Walk-in registrations during the Evaluation nights are not guaranteed and are considered a late registration pending League capacity limits. We make every effort to include every child interested but are limited by team size and number of teams due to gym time available to the League. 

Location: JARVIS MEMORIAL TCLC GYM - Each child is evaluated in a low-pressure environment (it is NOT a "tryout") where we assess their skills. Everyone attends one basketball evaluation. Each child's evaluation itself takes about 10-15 minutes. The overall orientation and evaluation process takes approximately 1 hour. Orientation, uniform sizing and skill evaluation all take place in the Taft Christian Life Center of Jarvis Memorial UMC. The entrance is on the Greene Street side of the church.
